The FICEP General Assembly was hosted by Member NBA Aquila in their beautiful hometown.
Anna Lamprecht was elected as new Youth Committee Director and Christian Lettner as new member of the Executive Committee (both members of SPORTUNION).
Stefani Groß, Jonathan Collomb, Peter Bouschen and Erhard Bechthold continued in their positions.
Golden Badges of Honour
Claudiu Roznovszky (former youth committee director) and Dr. Jörg Schmeck (former medical committee director) retired from their positions and were honoured with the golden badges of honour from FICEP. Both worked many years for the FICEP and helped to develop the federation.
FICEP is very grateful for their amazing work and thanks them fo all their activites.
International encounters, new friendships, sports, fun and, above all, knowledge were the focus of the INVEST congress week in Niederöblarn. From 4 to 10 September, volunteers from six federations (OREL, FSCF, DJK, CSR, NBA Aquila and SPORTUNION) were warmly welcomed by steering group member Claudiu Roznovszky and coordinators Alexandra Hoffmann and Sebastian Immler.
Expert Adam Kozusky from OREL introduced the participants of three countries to the topic “Cyberbullying, social media and the Internet”. Five main topics were discussed: 1. What is cyberbullying, what does it look like and how it affects people 2. How social media shapes us, negatively and positively 3. Dangers of being online 4. Dark
Under the slogan“NEED A TEAM” the FICEP/FISEC Games will be held in Budapest from 14th to 20th of July 2025.The host of the Games is FISEC member “KIDS”. 13 Federations from 12 Countries will participate at the event.
Expert Keren Vogler, Anti-Racism commissioner at DJK introduced the participants of three countries to the topic “Anti-Rascim in Sports”. Under the slogan "United in Diversity: Kicking Racism out of Sport" the expert discussed the impact of racism incidents on the performance of athletes and in which forms racism manifests in Sport. The second FICEP Youth Congress took place in L´Aquila from April 4 to 6, 2025, under the motto “Youth volunteering”. The aim of this congress was to inform young volunteers about their possibilities for international volunteering, to network, share their ideas and strengthen their skills and knowledge through various workshops, both personally and professionally.
At the elective congress of the Fédération Sportive et Culturelle de France (FSCF) which took place in Troyes, Aube, Christian Babonneau was re-elected for a fourth and final term as president of the federation.
